Our Mission

Bobby's Crew is inspired by our son's passion for the Anime Series One Piece and the caring life and legacy that he left behind. 

After watching several hundred episodes of One Piece, we began to notice many similarities between the main character in One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy, and Bobby. Similarities such as having goals, believing in yourself and in hard work, understanding the importance of having a plan, having respect and compassion for others, prioritizing kindness for others over selfish motives, and placing a priority on surrounding yourself with quality friends. Luffy's Crew, just like Bobby's friends, are very very special. It seemed perfect that any charity that was going to carry on the legacy of our son would begin and end with the quality of his friends or his crew.  Since Bobby is not here to physically carry on his life's journey, it is up to us, his friends, his community, his family, his crew, to carry on for him. With this collective journey in mind came the birth of Bobby's Crew! 

It is our hope that our community will come together as one "Crew" and be united in supporting the many causes that were close to our son's heart.   

We are a community-rooted organization of volunteers, with big aspirations, committed to supporting youth mental health, aiding the homeless, fighting food insecurity, and advancing both educational and athletic opportunities for those in need of financial support. 

With Bobby's legacy pointing us in the right direction, we strive to build a stronger, more caring community as we “Navigate Towards Kindness.”
